The submission of proposals for the "Cybersecurity Enhancement in Cyprus Small and Medium Enterprises 2023" Program was successfully completed on 31/01/2024. 

The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) in collaboration with the Digital Security Authority (DSA) as the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre (NCC-CY), announce the Call for Proposals of the "Cybersecurity Enhancement in Cyprus Small and Medium Enterprises 2023" Program and invites beneficiaries to submit relevant Project Proposals.

This Call is announced in the framework of a series of actions of the National Coordination Centre-NCC-CY on Cybersecurity in Cyprus. With the adoption of the European Regulation (EU) 2021/887 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 2021, the European Centre of Competence (ECCC) for Industrial, Technological and Research Questions in Cybersecurity and the Network, consisting of the National Coordination Centres (NCCs) in each EU Member State, is established with the ultimate aim of developing technological and industrial capacities for cybersecurity issues in the European Union.

By decision of the Council of Ministers on 21 December 2021, the Digital Security Authority (DSA), as an entity of the wider public sector, was designated as the National Cyber Security Coordination Centre (NCC-CY) in the Republic of Cyprus. At the same time, the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) was appointed as a member of the NCC-CY consortium with the task of financial management of the funding that the NCC-CY will secure through the European programs, with the aim of financially supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the Republic of Cyprus.

The Call is co-funded by the Republic of Cyprus and the Digital Europe Program of the European Union, in the framework of the implementation of the European Project "N4CY-Development of the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre of the Republic of Cyprus" (Grant Agreement 101101331).
