As part of the European University of Cyprus initiative "One Week as a Student", the Office of the Commissioner for Communications – Digital Security Authority hosted high school students on June 3, providing them with an interactive introduction in the field of cybersecurity.

Visit of High School Students to Learn About Careers in Cybersecurity
Through presentations and discussions, the students learned about career opportunities in the field of cybersecurity, with a focus on the professional profiles outlined in the European Cybersecurity Skills Framework (ECSF) developed by ENISA.
Additionally, the students were given a tour of the Security Operations Center (SOC), where they had the opportunity to meet cybersecurity analysts and learn about their day-to-day work, the tools and technologies they use and the ways in which they identify, analyze and respond to cyber threats in real time.
Our goal is to encourage the younger generation to explore the rapidly evolving field of digital security and develop the essential skills for the future.
