As part of International Safer Internet Day, the Digital Security Authority (DSA), with the support of the Ministry of Education's Counseling and Career Guidance Service, held an online training session on February 16, 2026, on the topic of "Career Opportunities in Cybersecurity" for Career Guidance Teachers.

Training of Career Guidance Teachers for the Promotion of Cybersecurity Professions
The training was delivered on behalf of the Digital Security Authority by Grant Thornton (Cyprus), a company with experience in designing and delivering training programs on cybersecurity issues.
The aim of the training was to inform participants about the importance of cybersecurity by presenting:
- current career opportunities in the field
- real-life examples and market statistics
Teachers were informed about the wide range of professions related to cybersecurity and the skills required for a successful career in the sector.
More than 100 career guidance teachers from schools across Cyprus participated in the training.
