Actively participating in the European Cybersecurity Month (ECSM) campaign, the Digital Security Authority, as the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre of Cyprus (NCC-CY), in cooperation with ENISA, held on Friday 04/10/24 the first (of a series of actions planned) event on "Boosting SMEs Cybersecurity Resilience".

The event "Boosting SMEs Cybersecurity Resilience" was successfully completed
The aim of the event was to highlight the importance of Cybersecurity in SMEs, especially from the perspective of human resources, skills and compliance with legislation and directives.
The event was welcomed by the Deputy Commissioner for Communications, Mr. Petros Galides, who highlighted the initiatives of DSA to support SMEs, such as the announcement of the first funding scheme for a total amount of EUR 1.000.000, and the preparation of the Cyber Security Framework for SMEs, among others.
The main speakers of the event were Anna Sarri and Evangelos Kantas from ENISA, as well as Iro Hatzopoulou from the Rewire Project!
The panel discussions also included: Costas Efthymiou (Head of Regulation and Supervision, DSA), Christodoulos Papadopoulos (President, CAIPP), Charalambos Charalambous (President, ISACA), Yianna Danidou (Rewire Project), Kyriakos Pavlou (DigINN) and Maria Georgiou (President, CyHRMA)!
